Puppy Consultation – age 8-16 weeks
Learn simple yet effective ways to start your puppy off on the right track. Setting the rules straight in the beginning is the best way to prevent unwanted behaviours from developing.

Private Lessons
I will come to your home and teach you how to train your dog. We will have an hour for each visit. This process can be fun for those who want to spend more time with their dog and do the training on their own. Private lessons are pay as you go.
Program 1
During this program your dog will learn sorne basic on-leash manners. Upon cornpletion, your dog will be able to walk politely with you on a leash without pulling and sit/stand and wait patientty for you when you stop. This training will take approximately 3 days and include 1 follow-up lesson.
Program 2
This program is designed to establish communication between you and your dog and give you on-leash control. Upon completion, your dog will be able to walk politely on the leash, sit patientty at your side, lay down at your side and hold a ‘stay’ command for a respectable amount of time. This program will take approximately 6 days and will include 2 follow-up lessons.
Program 3
This program is necessary if you would like your dog to be trained off-leash. Upon completion, your dog will be able to heel, sit and lay down at your side, sit and lay down from the front, sit and lay down while you are walking, stay for a respectable amount of time. and come to you when called. This program will take approx 10 training days and include 4 follow-up lessons.
During follow-up lessons you will be taught proper leash handling techniques and the proper use of each command. Within these lessons we will work on distractions that may occur around your dog and how to address them as well as diversifying the commands and dealing with unwanted behaviors.
Program 4
To begin this program you and your dog must have completed Level 3 and be able to demonstrate your learned abilities together. An evaluation will take place in order to enroll in this program. Upon completion your dog will be able to respond to all of the above commands indoors and outdoors while off the leash using verbal commands or hand signals. Your dog will also learn the ‘placemat’ command, which allows limited freedom with self-control in a designated area. This program will take 10 training days and include necessary follow-up lessons.
